Video Testimonial Contest How-To Video


Any AXP alumni who has attended the National Flight Academy’s six-day overnight Deployment program.

Video Guidelines:

  • Your video must be between one (1) minute and three (3) minutes in length
  • First name
  • Call sign given at the National Flight Academy
  • Year you attended
  • Home state
  • How NFA inspired you or favorite memory
  • Future plans

Video Submission:

1. Create your testimonial video.
2. Your video must be uploaded on YouTube.
3. Send your YouTube link to with the subject “VIDEO CONTEST- FIRST NAME, LAST INITIAL”
4. In the body of the email, include the following:

  • YouTube video link
  • First and last name
  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Judging & Awards:

  • The top three winners will each receive one (1) $100.00 VISA gift card.
  • All contest entrants who submit videos meeting the criteria above will receive an NFA water bottle and sun glasses.
  • Submissions will be judged by employees of the National Flight Academy based on originality, creativity and content.
  • Videos may be submitted between June 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017.
  • The winners will be notified by July 7, 2017.

Contest Rules & Conditions

  • Contestant entrants grant the National Flight Academy a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to broadcast, publish, store, reproduce, distribute, syndicate, and otherwise use and exhibit the videos (along with their names, voices, performance and/or likenesses) in all media now known and later come into being for purposes of trade or advertising without further compensation. Participants represent and warrant that they have full legal right, power and authority to grant the National Flight Academy the foregoing license and if applicable, have secured all necessary rights from any participants in, and contributors to, their videos in order to grant such a license.
  • All work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material, including music. No professional help.
  • The National Flight Academy is under no obligation to use any video.
  • All entries become the property of the National Flight Academy. The National Flight Academy reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including videos provided by the contestants, for editorial, marketing and any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
  • Videos must be submitted by uploading to YouTube. Must comply with YouTube Terms of Service.
  • By participating in this contest, you acknowledge that this contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook and release Facebook from any and all liability arising from or related to this contest. The information you are providing for this contest is being provided to the National Flight Academy and not to Facebook, and will be used to notify you if you have won.
  • All contest participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The National Flight Academy in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of its website or is otherwise in violation of these rules.
  • The National Flight Academy is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected email or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. If for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, the National Flight Academy may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Entrants further agree to release the National Flight Academy from any liability resulting from, or related to participation in the contest.
