I/ITSEC

The National Flight Academy participated in the 2011 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) held in Orlando, Fla. In December. The National Flight Academy presented the Breitling Challenge that included a series of flight simulators at I/ITSEC which were networked with flight simulators at the new National Flight Academy Super ACE (Aviation Classroom Experience) at the University of West Florida located in Pensacola, Florida. Using the National Flight Academy’s aviation-inspired STEM curriculum, local students from Escambia and Santa Rosa counties are competing against local students in Orlando.

I/ITSEC promotes cooperation among armed services, industry, educational and government agencies that seek improved training and education programs, identification of common training issues and development of multi-service programs. Over 20,000 conference registrants from around the world were in attendance
