More About the NFA

Hero Program

The Hero Program is a group of individuals who through their education and professional life have benefited from STEM education. They may not be pilots or aviators, but they exemplify the traits and characteristics of a leader and without the benefit of a STEM education would not be as successful as they are today. These individuals will participate as needed in school visits, media requests and appearances, and marketing and branding opportunities for the National Flight Academy. In addition, these individuals are willing to lend their support and credibility to help enhance our students desire to be more socially aware, physically fit and STEM capable. Current Hero individuals in our program include all former Blue Angels through our relationship with the Blue Angel Association; our Board member resident Astronauts, former Naval Officer and current PGA Tour player Billy Hurley III; amongst others.

Ambassador Program

The Ambassador Program is a group of individuals who through their business and personal contacts have expressed an interest in spreading the word of the National Flight Academy and the Center of Inspiration programs. These persons may not have any STEM background, but share our passion in increasing STEM awareness, workforce development and general growth of our business. The only requirement for these businessmen and women is that they make introductions to the business community, engage our staff and partners in mutually beneficial business activities and act as our representatives in their areas of influence. Current Ambassador individuals in our program include our Board Members; our outside sales staff to include VADM Hoewing; Kent Schein, CEO Innoventors in St Louis; and our Trustees amongst others.
